How Much Does Laundry Pickup and Delivery Cost in Chickasha?
If you’re weighing whether a laundry service is worth it, the first question is usually simple: what does it actually cost? Here’s a straightforward answer for households in Chickasha and the surrounding towns.
The short version: $35 per bag
The Laundry Lady keeps pricing flat and easy to understand. It’s $35 per tied 13-gallon bag — about two loads — and that price includes wash, dry, fold or hang, and free delivery within our service area. No per-pound math, no surprises after the fact. You can see the full breakdown on the pricing page.
What “a bag” means
A bag is a standard, tied 13-gallon trash bag with no rips or tears, filled but not overstuffed (up to about 18 pounds). Keeping it under that cap matters — an overstuffed bag doesn’t wash or dry properly, and very heavy bags may count as two.
What’s included
- Wash and dry
- Folding, or hanging for items you flag ahead of time
- Free pickup and delivery inside the service area
- Next-day turnaround on most orders
Oversized items like comforters or quilts are a small add-on, since they need their own wash and dry cycle.
How to estimate your total
Most families send one to three bags a week. A single adult might do one bag; a busy family with kids often runs two or three. If you set up a recurring weekly pickup, laundry simply gets handled without you thinking about it.
Is it worth it?
The honest way to think about it: what is a few hours of your week worth? Between sorting, washing, drying, folding, and putting away, laundry quietly eats an evening or a weekend morning. For a lot of Chickasha households — especially families juggling work, school, and sports — handing that off is the easiest hour they buy back all week.
